Who I am

This site is operated by Troi Y., trading as The Pypeline Guy, based in the Philippines. For any privacy question, or to have your data removed, email troi@thepypelineguy.com and it will be actioned.

What this site collects

The website itself does not run advertising trackers or sell data. Information reaches me in three ways:

• You contact me. If you email, call, or book a call, I hold your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about your business, so I can respond and prepare for the call.
• You book through Calendly. Scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email and timezone under its own privacy policy.
• Hosting logs. This site is hosted on Netlify, which records standard server request data such as IP address and browser type for security and performance.

I do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

Cold email outreach, and how it is handled

My work involves sending business-to-business email on behalf of clients. This is the part of the policy most people are actually looking for, so it is stated plainly.

• Outreach is sent to business contacts at business addresses, for a business purpose, never to consumers at personal addresses.
• Every message identifies who is sending it, includes a valid physical address for the sending business, and offers a working opt-out.
• Opt-outs are honoured immediately and the address is added to a permanent suppression list. You do not need to ask twice.
• Contact data is sourced from commercial business databases. It is verified before use and is held in accounts owned by the client, not by me.
• Campaigns are sent from dedicated sending domains, never from a client's primary domain.

In the United States this is structured to meet CAN-SPAM. In Canada, CASL. Where recipients are in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, campaigns are built on a legitimate interest basis under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, with tighter targeting, documented reasoning and the same immediate suppression on request.

If you received an email and want out

Use the opt-out link in the message, or reply asking to be removed, or email troi@thepypelineguy.com. Any of the three works. You can also ask what data is held about you and request that it be corrected or deleted, and I will confirm once it is done.

Client data

Where I build and run systems for a client, the client is the data controller and I act on their instructions. Tools, sending domains and lead data live in accounts the client owns. When an engagement ends, that access stays with the client and my own access is removed.

How long data is kept

Enquiry correspondence is kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period after, in case you come back. Suppression and opt-out records are kept indefinitely, because deleting them is what would cause someone to be contacted again by mistake.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
